Marketing and Communications Executive at Zzoomm

  Affiliate program oversight & strategic planning

  • Managed Zzoomm's industry-leading "Refer a Friend" program, consistently driving over 10% of monthly web sales in 2024.
  • Collaborated cross-functionally with Customer Care and Sales to ensure program understanding and support for both customers and colleagues.
  • Partnered with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and create the referral strategy, experimenting with reward structures, optimising volume and ROI.
  • Directed the redesign of the customer referral portal with an external creative agency, reinforcing its success in sustaining 10% monthly web sales

Digital Advertising & Paid Media

  • Managed a £600,000 annual digital advertising budget with a targeted CPA of £90.
  • With oversight of the Senior Marketing Manager, managed planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across search, social, and display channels, adapting strategies with weekly and monthly insights to maximise sales and cost-efficiency.
  • Responded to demand, increasing ad spend during high-demand periods to capture additional sales opportunities.
  • Conducted experimental campaigns across Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok, leading to data-driven decisions that discontinued Pinterest and Twitter while expanding on TikTok initiatives.
  • Led regionalised ad campaigns, including localised creative for areas such as Hereford, Crewe and Tadcaster, driving regional brand awareness and sales.

Creative Development, Collaboration & Website Optimisation

  • Partnered with the Campaign Manager to ensure alignment between online and offline creatives for seamless omnichannel campaigns.
  • Designed ad creatives since 2019. Most recently all campaign related ad creatives from September 2024 to now were produced by me.
  • Collaborated with an external web development agency over eight months to launch a mobile-first website in April 2024, with multiple UI suggestions implemented to enhance user experience.
  • Conducted research and produced a report on data capture at Zzoomm.com, focusing on enhancing the abandoned cart procedure. The findings led to actionable recommendations, including the implementation of targeted web pop-ups to improve conversion rates

 

  • Market Awareness & Innovation: Developed competitor insights and market monitoring practices, making suggestions to position Zzoomm ahead of industry trends.
  • Team Impact: Contributed to a 1% monthly network penetration across a network of 200,000 properties, resulting in a customer base exceeding 30,000. Drove impactful digital marketing experiments and campaigns, enhancing Zzoomm's brand visibility and customer acquisition across regions.
  • Brand: Developed brand guidelines and executed innovative branding initiatives, aligning them with business objectives.
  • Research Leadership: Led multiple research projects to develop products, pricing strategies, and website improvements, utilising qualitative and quantitative surveys to gather and analyse data.
